Out to Swim West Celebrates!

The newest part of our OTS family - Out to Swim West, based in Bristol - is ending its first full year with plenty to celebrate.  Starting with only 3 London expats swimming together in public sessions, it is now almost 30 members strong with 3 sessions a week, 2 coached and has already fielded a relay team at GLLAM19 at the London Aquatics Centre.  

This weekend, Head Coach Michelle made the trip to our country cousins and was really impressed by what she found. OTSW are lucky to have coach Jen providing sessions which inspire all; even Michelle couldn’t resist getting out her stopwatch to help time some sprints! Saturday sessions are popular for the post-swim coffee and brunch at the local ‘99 Queens’ (yes, really) and this week the chat was about our 2020 competition schedule to support the OTS family and events which are accessible to members of the team who are new to it. 

Our year was rounded off by our Christmas party. Hosted by one of the OTSW pioneers, Simon, the team celebrated a year of swimming, friendship and fun.  Any of the OTS team are welcome to come and swim with Bristol, the team will welcome you with open arms!
