On the 16th October, I competed at the London Para Regional Championships in Lewisham. Going into it, I was apprehensive, as I was unsure as to what to expect. After a few pep talks from Michelle, I was as ready as I was going to ever be!

I adopted the tactic - don't leave anything in the tank and pray to whatever deity there may be that the times are solid! This seemed to somehow work a treat.  I managed to get best times and make the podium in all three of my events! I managed to get a gold on the 400m freestyle following a 3 second improvement upon my previous best. In the 100m Individual Medley I managed a 6 second improvement on my best to take the Gold and a 4 second best in the 100m Backstroke to take Bronze!
