On a sunny (and icy) Sunday Morning, the bravest and hardest 15 OTS swimmers gathered at Brockwell Lido for the end of season dip. Sitting at the pool edge contemplating the water temperature at 4.4C, it was Laura our race captain who took the first plunge and swam a gallant (if somewhat noisy) 50m to the end. Others gradually followed suit, displaying superhuman courage, endurance and squealing. Grace, a first-time dipper gained 2nd wind after recovery in the sauna and completed a record-breaking 200m back/front crawl medley. Mulled whisky and all sorts of baked goods were appreciated by all.
